Arizona Recap!

Allllrighty then….It seems as though once I graduated college and moved to Arizona I decided to let this page die and fall into internet history. Well, I think it’s time to bring it back to life. (I’m serious this time)

If you are new to this site, you obviously won’t be able to tell the difference from the old site, but I’ve actually spent some serious time to transfer this blog over to WordPress from Blogger. One can only assume the time invested actually means I plan to keep things up to date. I guess we will see what happens!

I’ll use this post as a quick snapshot to 14 months of my life in Tucson, AZ.

For anyone who has never been to Arizona, or to anyone who thinks Arizona is strictly desert, it is most certainly not. It’s probably one of the most beautiful and diverse places I have ever lived. The following two photos are taken in locations probably about an hour away from each other, it’s an absolutely breath-taking place to live.

Anyways, as I did in South Dakota, I did quite a bit of climbing and exploring and met quite a few amazing people that I can honestly say will be life-long friends.

On with the car pictures.

The car “as arrived” in AZ:

Opposite Grip Events at P1 Karting/Musselman Honda Circuit

This track is awesome. It’s a go-kart track near the fair grounds located on the outer edge of Tucson, I was lucky enough to live 15 minutes away from this track so, to no surprise, I spent quite a bit of time here. I actually hosted 5 separate drift events at this location before I had to move away. This was by far some of the most fun I’ve had drifting aside from with my SDDrift/OppositeGrip guys in South Dakota. Here are a few pictures from those events before I decided to give the car a little facelift and TLC:

Time for a Facelift

While in Tucson, I decided to show this thing some love in the form of…..:

– AIT URAS Type IV style kit
– 20mm and 50mm B-Magic fenders
– Powder coated the enkei’s Dormant Violet
– Matte White Plasti-Dip.
– Also finally got a bucket seat and harness!!
(Note to self and anyone reading this. Never Plasti-Dip your car white if you actually intend to use it, or forget about keeping it clean)
